The 3-week Bioinformatics Bootcamp
The 3-week Bioinformatics Bootcamp, organized by our university's IEEE EMBS and CS student branches, has been successfully completed. Research Assistant Duygu Geçkin from our department provided participants with a comprehensive and instructive program, including an introductory Python course and insights into the field of bioinformatics. The bootcamp covered topics such as 'What is Bioinformatics?', Bioinformatics in Turkey, the Human Genome Project, and biological and computational algorithms. At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates.
