Dean's Message
Our faculty's main objective is to raise engineers who have an in-depth knowledge of engineering fundamentals and can use this knowledge efficiently to tackle the issues of the future. As the Faculty of Engineering, we are aware that the implementation of science and technology is essential to solve real-life problems in a competitive and demanding world. This is precisely why we provide our students with a student-centered environment with personal care in our Faculty. Within the Faculty we offer 11 different undergraduate engineering programs, whose curricula are prepared according to respectable international standards such as IEEE, ACM, IIE and Bologna, with updated content each year, and with course plans accredited by international institutions. In addition to engineering courses, our students also take courses in basic science, and elective courses in a variety of fields such as humanities and social sciences so that they can broaden their intellectual perspective. Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Engineering family is dedicated to using all of its strength to educate you as engineers who can contribute to the development of our country and the world.
