Software Engineering Students Earn ISTQB Foundation Level Test Certification

Two Software Engineering students, Aykan Uğur and Kerim Karakan, have successfully earned the internationally recognized ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification after successfully completing the Software Testing and Verification course offered by our department.

The ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Foundation Level certification is the world's leading entry-level qualification in software testing. It validates an individual's understanding of the fundamental principles, terminology, processes, techniques, and tools used in software testing. The certification is intended for professionals who need to demonstrate practical knowledge of software testing, including test engineers, test analysts, software testers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers, quality assurance professionals, and software developers.

By achieving this internationally recognized credential while still pursuing their undergraduate studies, Aykan Uğur and Kerim Karakan have demonstrated both their technical competence and their commitment to professional development.
