Constraint Based Scheduling Project
Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Arslan Örnek, Head of our Department, and Lecturer Cemalettin Öztürk have completed the "Constraint Based Scheduling" module as part of the development of EGEBIMTES "New Generation Manufacturing Automation" project (TUBITAK No.10054) sponsored by TUBITAK, Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council. With this project, manufacturing control application of EGEBIMTES, MAS, is enhanced by a constraint based scheduling module which assigns and schedules ERP generated manufacturing orders to resources with respect to levelling work load on resources, minimizing setup times, transfer times between resources and latest completion time of the orders.
