ENGINEERING FACULTY MEMBERS AWARDED WITH TUBITAK GRANTS
We are glad to announce that three of our faculty members have been awarded TUBITAK research grants. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Zeynep Fırtına Karagonlar from Genetics and Bioengineering Department received TUBITAK 1001 grant with project named " Analysis of the regorafenib response of sorefenib resistant cells in a multicellular 3-D tumor spheroid model established using sorafenib resistant and parental HCC cells". Also, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osman Doluca from Biomedical Engineering Department and Asst.Prof.Dr. F.Pınar Gördesli Duatepe from Mechanical Engineering Department received TUBITAK 3501 grants with projects named " An investigation of the role of the conserved G-quadruplex motif in E.coli" and " Adhesion Forces of Planktonic and Biofilm-Dispersed Cells to Surfaces and Cell Surface Physiochemical Properties" respectively.
