IUE teams passed CDR phase (Critical Design Report) in "TEKNOFEST 2019 Rocket Contest''

The University of Economics, Faculty of Engineering teams "ATLAS" and "NEBULA" will participate in "Rocket TEKNOFEST 2019" contest.
TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition; It is aimed at high school, associate degree, undergraduate and graduate fields and consists of 2 different categories as low and high altitude. Before the competition, teams should prepare 3 different reports: Preliminary Design Report (ÖTR), Critical Design Report (KTR) and Final Design Report. According to the results of the ÖTR evaluation, a qualifying approach is approaching and the teams that qualify for financial support are approaching according to the KTR results. Under the guidance of the faculty members of the Department of Aerospace Engineering Assoc. Dr Y. Volkan Pehlivanoğlu and Dr Lecturer. Member İ. Murat Akşit'. “ATLAS” and “NEBULA” teams passed the KTR elimination phase at high altitude (3000 meters) and were granted financial support.
The AS ATLAS ”team consists of members Abdülkadir Kılıç, Anıl Can Ateş, Halil Yaman and İlke Kobanç. “NEBULA” team consists of Ahsen Sağcan, Levent Altınada, Oğuz Tanıl, Fatma Nida Ocak, Aytuğ Han, Beyzanur Kalaycı, Nezahat Sivaslı, Atıl Kan, Buse Ay, Dilara Vefa Ayyıldız and Zeynep Betül Kaya. They have further detail designing and testing processes… We wish them success.
