Calculated the carbon footprint of Turkish cuisine

Scientists at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) calculated the carbon footprint of Turkish cuisine and determined that it is a more environmentally friendly cuisine than Italian cuisine. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fehmi Görkem Üçtuğ, Vice Dean, IUE Faculty of Engineering, and senior students Cansu Öngelen, Beliz Hünkar and Dorukan Günaydın started working 1 year ago to calculate the carbon footprint of Turkish cuisine.
