Important information about course registrations

Dear Students,

Some changes have been made in the Academic Calendar for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester to switch to a new Student Information System (SIS) and to provide you with the necessary support during this period.

1- Course registrations and advisor approvals will take place on February 10-14, the first week of the Spring Semester. You can access the detailed calendar from the “Announcements” field on the home page after logging in to SIS.

2- The list of all courses to be offered at our University in the Spring Semester (including course code, course name, day, time, classroom information) will be published in the “Announcements” field on February 3, 2025.

3- The course schedules of your department/program will be published on the web pages of the relevant faculty/graduate school/school and/or your department/program on February 4, 2025.

4- Tables showing the department/program distribution of multi-section courses will be published on the web pages of the relevant faculty/graduate school/school and/or your department/program on February 4, 2025.

5- Classes will start on February 10-14, the first week of the Spring Semester. You are not obliged to attend the courses in the first week, where course registrations and advisor approvals will also take place. You can watch the first week lectures on Panopto course recording system.

6 - Course registration procedures will be carried out through SIS. Before course registrations, you can check the courses you will take from the “Course and Semester Procedures” -> “Curriculum Status” tab on SIS.

7- The user guide, which you can use while performing your course registration procedures, is available in Turkish and English under the “General Procedures” tab from the SIS main menu.

8- SIS Support Teams have been established to assist you face-to-face while you are registering for courses in the student information system. The SIS Support Teams will be at the main entrance of Block A to support you during February 10-12.
