DEPARMENT OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING COLLABORATES WITH INTERNATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANY
Beril Bayer, a final year student of Department of Industrial Engineering, has completed her 6-month internship and scholarship successfully under supervision of Dr. Kamil Erkan Kabak at Supply Chain Innovation Group of Infineon Technologies AG, Munich, Germany. Beril worked on flexibility measures to reduce Carbon Dioxide emissions on global supply chains, and her study is accepted in the Winter Simulation Conference 2018, Sweden.
Supply Chain Innovation Group of Infineon Technologies AG, a leading international semiconductor manufacturer company, collaborates on long-term internships and final year senior projects with the Department of Industrial Engineering, Izmir University of Economics. A certificate of contribution to senior projects has given to Hans Ehm, Lead Principal Supply Chain and Head of Supply Chain Innovations & Innovation Services and Dr Thomas Ponsignon, Senior Staff Engineer.
