WE ARE PARTICIPATING IN TUBITAK ELECTRIC VEHICLE COMPETITION

Developed and manufactured by the engineering students of Izmir University of Economics, our new electric vehicle hit the road in order to participate in the annual "Efficiency Challenge - Electric Vehicle" (https://challenge.tubitak.gov.tr/home_en.htmll) competition organized by TUBITAK in Kocaeli. Made up of 10 students from four different departments, our Ecowheels team will represent IUE and Izmir in the competition, which will take place on the 12th of August.
Asst.Prof.Dr. Bülent Bilir, the academic advisor to the team, stated that significant modifications have been made on the design which attended the competition last year for the first time in IEU history, adding that the autonomous driving function of our vehicle is its distinguishing feature.
We wish success to all our students and hope to see them come back from Kocaeli with the championship trophy.
